The National Security Service of Armenia has recorded a case of alleged ‘misuse’ of AMD 149,270 at an institution with a turnover of nearly AMD 13,000,000,000. This is what Rector of Yerevan State Medical University Armen Muradyan wrote on his Facebook page today.

“I would like to state that the years studied are the years between 2015 and 2018 (nearly AMD 52,000,000,000), as a result of which, in 2016-18, there was a case of alleged ‘misuse’ of AMD 149,270, and the ex-chief of staff and head of the economic department have been charged with respect to garbage disposal at a hospital.

I must say that we are preparing to dispute the case with respect to alleged misuse of AMD 149,270.

I am certain and believe in our law-enforcement authorities that they will lead an impartial investigation and will specify all the details in the end!” he wrote.
