Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu has declared that the Turkish and Russian presidents might meet to discuss the situation in regard to Idlib, reports TASS.

“Presidents of Turkey and Russia Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin held phone talks during which they discussed all the issues and decided to continue their joint efforts. Turkey is currently waiting for the Russian delegation to arrive. After that, the presidents will meet, if necessary. Turkey’s goal is to stop the attacks,” he said.

According to Cavusoglu, Turkey hopes Russia “stops the attacks that President of Syria Bashar al-Assad is blaming Ankara for”.
