On February 6, Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan received a delegation headed by Dong-Soo Pyo, Director of the Central and West Asia Department of the Transport and Communications Division at the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

They discussed the ADB-supported road construction projects in Armenia. In particular, they touched upon the construction of the North-South Road Corridor.

Papikyan assured that the Armenian government has a clear commitment and political will to quickly resolve—within its powers—the issues that are  suspended for years and due to various circumstances.

Pyo, in turn, assured that ADB is ready to assist the Armenian government in any matter to complete this project within the deadline.

The parties also reaffirmed their readiness to continue the existing projects and jointly resolve the issues therein.
