An Armenian fixed-term serviceman has threatened to kill a junior sergeant with an axe and pickaxe, both have been charged, and the criminal case has been forwarded to the court, as reported the Judicial-Information System.

N.Y., a compulsory fixed-term serviceman, with the title of Private, got into a dispute with Junior Sergeant G.Z. over a certain task that G.Z. had failed to do and used dirty words. G.Z. hit N.Y., after which N.Y. threw an axe at G.Z., but G. Z. hid behind the vantage ground and wasn’t hit with the axe. Afterwards, N.E. continued to use dirty words, took a pickaxe, went after G.Z. and threatened to hit and kill him with the pickaxe, but his fellow servicemen caught him and took the pickaxe from his hand. Thus, the crime wasn’t committed in circumstances beyond his control.

G.Z., a compulsory fixed-term serviceman, with the title of Junior Sergeant, beat compulsory fixed-term serviceman, Private N.Y. after getting into a dispute with him and caused bodily injuries containing elements of slight damage to health.

G.Z. is charged with committing violent acts against a subordinate or threatening to commit them, causing slight or medium damage to health, and N.Y. is charged with beating the head (commander) for committing duties of military service or exerting other violence against him or making a threat to exert violence against the head (commander) or the close one.

The case has been inscribed to Judge Hrachya Mekhakyan of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Syunik Province.
