Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan today had a conventional meeting with the head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia and the ambassadors of EU member states accredited to Armenia.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the current challenges in the context of global and regional developments and the issues to address those challenges. In the context of the Armenia-EU partnership, they also touched upon the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
In the context of continuity of the EU’s support to the Armenian government’s development agenda, the foreign minister presented the large-scale reforms that Armenia is implementing for the strengthening of democracy and rule of law, the establishment of an independent judiciary and the fight against corruption. He also talked about the latest developments of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
