On February 10, Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan received Natalia Voutova, Head of the Council of Europe (CoE) Office in Yerevan.

Avinyan noted that the CoE is one of Armenia's key partners in promoting the values of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. He also touched upon the Armenia-CoE 2019-2022 action plan that was launched last year, and which is an important milestone for developing relationships.

Voutova briefed the deputy PM on the main directions of CoE office’s activities in Armenia.

The interlocutors discussed opportunities for cooperation in digitization, e-justice and cybersecurity, as well as artificial intelligence in the context of human rights.
