Out of the three contractual servicemen who were stuck under an avalanche at the maintenance station of N military unit in Armenia’s Syunik Province on February 7, 24-year-old Nver Shahbazyan was the only child of his family, had quit his job as a waiter and had gone to serve as a contractual soldier in the Armed Forces. This is what Nver Shahbazyan’s maternal uncle told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Armenian News-NEWS.am also contacted the military registration office in Kashatagh where the representatives said the other serviceman who was stuck under the avalanche, Karapet Nazaryan, had moved to Kashatagh with his family in 2000.

The tragic event took place while the servicemen were moving from the military posts to their military unit.
