YEREVAN. – The meeting of the heads of Armenia’s diplomatic missions accredited in Europe and in international and regional organizations kicked off on February 11, in Vienna.

Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan delivered welcoming remarks, and he stressed the importance of these already-traditional gatherings as an effective platform for exchange of views on the spot with respect to Armenia's foreign policy developments and the pressing issues that are on the regional and international agenda, the Foreign Ministry informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In the course of the meeting, the participants discussed in detail Armenia's foreign policy priorities, and the challenges facing Armenian diplomacy and the steps being taken to address them.

Steps to expand Armenia's involvement in international and regional organizations, and to further strengthen cooperation with partner countries were on the agenda, too.
