STEPANAKERT. – Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic Foreign Minister Masis Mayilian has been nominated as a candidate for President.
The Artsakh Central Electoral Commission (CEC) said in a respective statement on February 11, it received Mayilian's application to self-nominate for the presidential election.
Presidential and parliamentary elections will be held in Artsakh on March 31.
Artsakh former Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Security Council former secretary Vitali Balasanyan, and presidential spokesperson David Babayan have already submitted to the CEC their respective documents to run for president.
