Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is on a working visit to Vienna, met Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Ghada Fathi Waly.

The two noted the effective partnership between Armenia and the UN office on combating drugs and crime and expressed their readiness to take practical steps to strengthen it , Armenian MFA reported.

Minister noted that addressing calls included in the framework of the office’s authority and promoting the sustainable development agenda are among the priorities of the Armenian government.

The FM introduced a large-scale reform program conducted by the government. The sides noted the commitment of the Armenian authorities in the fight against corruption, highlighting the importance of this fight both at the national level and through the exchange of experience with various countries.
