YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan, who is also chairman of the ruling Civil Contract Party board and now head of the "Yes" campaign headquarters in the constitutional referendum, is one of the people with the most positive image in this government. However, it turns out that he has edited his biography and hidden some unpleasant pages from the public.

For example, he concealed that he was once charged under a criminal article and was even convicted and imprisoned. According to our information, during the military service, he stabbed his commander, and a criminal case was launched on that occasion.

On March 27, 2006, he was sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison, (...) on February 23, 2007, he was released on amnesty.

This conviction seems to have been terminated, so it has no bearing on his holding office. However, it is noteworthy that this fact was concealed from the biography.

This fact becomes particularly noteworthy against the background of the authorities' fight against the army and criminal subculture. How can people who have stabbed people in the army call on the soldiers to show high awareness and abstain from boy “settling of scores?"
