Head of the State Migration Service of Armenia Armen Ghazaryan received the delegation led by Director-General of OFII – French Office of Immigration and Integration Didier Leschi.

“Recently, our cooperation with the OFII has become more intensive, and this is very effective,”Ghazaryan said and particularly stressed the effectiveness of the activities of the Armenian office.

Didier Leschi also highly appreciated the longstanding cooperation between France and Armenia, and the parties considered the challenges for the launch of the visa liberalization dialogue.

In response to his French counterpart’s questions, Ghazaryan presented the activities for the prevention of irregular migration, the past and upcoming reforms, the high performance of the readmission agreement and the fact that the inter-agency delegation regularly holds discussions with European colleagues over the launch of the visa liberalization dialogue.
