US President Donald Trump has demanded the special services to eliminate the youngest son of the terrorist Osama bin Laden Hamza, despite the presence of more significant threats, NBC reported referring to former employee of the US administration.

According to him, senior representatives of the American intelligence community presented Trump with a list of the most dangerous terrorists for the United States, large forces were sent to search and eliminate them. Yemeni al Qaeda chief Qasim al-Rimi and ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi were among the killed.

Trump demanded that the security services eliminate Hamza bin Laden, who, according to NBC, had much less authority, posed less danger and did not plan attacks. "He would say, 'I've never heard of any of these people. What about Hamza bin Laden?'" one former official said. "That was the only name he knew," a Pentagon official added.

Trump said Hamza bin Laden was eliminated as a result of a US special operation in September 2019 in the Afghanistan-Pakistan region. The New York Times earlier reported it could have been liquidated as a result of an operation carried out in the last two years during the Trump administration, while the exact date was not specified.
