Experts from the World Customs Organization (WCO) visited the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia to participate in the development of an action plan based on recommendations submitted as a result of the diagnostic mission in May 2019 as part of the WCO's Mercator Programme.

During the meeting with the experts, SRC Deputy Chairman Mikayel Pashayan highlighted the continuity of effective cooperation between the SRC and the WCO within the framework of this program.

In the framework of the visit, the SRC chairman’s draft decree that was developed on the basis of the WCO experts' recommendations as a result of the mission in May 2019, was amended, the proposals for implementation of the provisions of the Trade Facilitation Agreement and their Action Plan were completed, as well as the necessary steps and directions of cooperation in trade facilitation under this agreement were identified.
