Well-known Armenian photographer, documentary writer, and journalist German Avagyan has died unexpectedly.

Avagyan's wake take place today, and his funeral will be held tomorrow in Yerevan.

Since 1989, German Avagyan has collaborated with various newspapers and magazines as a freelance photographer. In his photos, he covered social issues, mental health issues, mining issues, and disability and poverty.
