Fayez Sarraj, Government of National Accord of Libya head, said the situation in the country is disastrous amid the blockade of oil pots by the forces of Libyan National Army.

The international community, which calls for stability in Libya, has not taken any clear action over the blockade of oil ports, Sarraj said in an interview with The Times on Monday.

According to the National Oil Corporation (NOC), the volume of oil production in Libya fell from 1.2 million barrels before the blockade to 163.6 thousand barrels per day. The losses are estimated at $ 1.4 billion, and the country is in a financial crisis, Sarraj said.

There are two executive bodies in Libya: Government of National Accord in Tripoli and the temporary cabinet, operating in the east of the country together with the parliament and supported by the Libyan National Army.
