YEREVAN. – Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Artak Davtyan, is in the National Assembly (NA). He is meeting with deputies to discuss the recent disturbing events in the army.
The closed meeting is organized by the NA Standing Committees on Defense and Security, and on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs.
A number of senior officers of the Armed Forces are also present.
Andranik Kocharyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security, said that the meeting will be closed, but in the end they would answer the questions of the journalists.
