Touching upon the incidents that recently took place in the army and caused the deaths of servicemen, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Artak Davtyan today told reporters that there will be personnel changes in the army and that those changes will be made under official decrees.
When told that there are press releases stating that Head of the Military Police Artur Baghdasaryan will be dismissed and commander of the Defense Army of Artsakh Karen Abrahamyan will resign, Artak Davtyan said the resignation of the commander of the Defense Army of Artsakh is not part of the competence of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia.
As far as the omissions of the army’s administration, he emphasized that there has been a long discussion on that.
