Minister of Justice of Armenia Rustam Badasyan today received the delegation led by USAID Armenia Mission Director Deborah Grieser, as reported the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Justice.

The minister expressed gratitude for the fruitful cooperation and attached importance to the activities of the Center for Legislation Development and Legal Research Foundation of the Ministry of Justice, which is supported by the USAID and makes essential contributions to the implementation of strategic reforms.

Deborah Grieser also highly appreciated the Foundation’s work and the current cooperation with the Ministry of Justice in the anti-corruption field and reaffirmed the willingness to assist the Armenian government in the fight against corruption.

During the meeting, Minister Badasyan also presented the ministry’s priorities (creation of an Anti-Corruption Committee and Anti-Corruption Court and police reforms) and discussed the opportunities for cooperation with the USAID in the mentioned directions.
