YEREVAN. -- An event organized to express solidarity with the people of China was organized at the Artists’ Union of Armenia.

Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, China’s Ambassador Tian Erlong were present during the event.

“In this difficult time, the Armenian people are next to the people of China. I must note that we are watching with particular compassion this outbreak of infection, which has already claimed many lives,” Mnatsakanyan said. “The determination of the Chinese to confront these challenge is admirable. We are confident that thanks to the Chinese government’s efforts it will be possible to overcome the current situation,” he said.

In expression of solidarity with people of China prominent Armenian artists jointly created and donated a beautiful “Canvas of Prayer for Unity”.
