Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of Artsakh Renaissance Day.

The congratulatory message reads as follows:

“Dear compatriots,

I cordially congratulate all us Armenians on this historic day, Artsakh Renaissance Day. On this day in 1988, the Regional Council of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast adopted a decision to be part of Armenia, to which not only the people of Armenia, but also all Armenians of the world expressed their full support.

With the pan-national movement that was launched on February 20, 1988, once again, the Armenian people showed their unity and their ability to stand united and act with determination at major moments in order to achieve the national goals.

Exercise of the right to self-determination and democratic liberties were specific goals in 1988 and still are today, and we Armenians are certain that we will achieve our goals through combined efforts because we stay true to the struggle and aspirations that will make Artsakh’s path to freedom irreversible.

Long live free Artsakh! Long live all Armenians!”
