YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: The amount of remittances from abroad to Armenia on behalf of individuals continues record a growth. In December of last year, net inflow of remittances from abroad through banks on behalf of individuals made 65 million 859 thousand dollars.
It should be noted that as compared to December 2018, net inflow of remittances—money from outside sent—to Armenia increased by 15 million 335 thousand dollars, and an amount of 150 million 364 thousand dollars were withdrawn from Armenia in December.
In addition, let us note that the net inflow from the Russian Federation, in other words, the amount that came to Armenia and stayed, amounted to 45 million 756 thousand dollars in December.
In addition, the net inflow of remittances from the United States to Armenia increased significantly; if it made 10 million 832 thousand dollars in November last year, it has become 18 million 718 thousand dollars in December.
