YEREVAN. – Cultural and public figures bid farewell to renowned Armenian actor Yervand Manaryan who passed away on February 20 at the age of 95 (photos).

Manaryan will be buried at the Yerevan city pantheon.

Yervand Manaryan was born in Arak, Iran, on August 10, 1924. In 1946, he repatriated to Armenia.

Aside from acting, he has shot a number of documentary and feature films, has written screenplays for numerous movies, and has published stories and articles in the press.
