Violence against representatives of the Armenian authorities took place yesterday in Lori Province, shamshyan.com reported.

Two police officers in Stepanavan town noticed that a car driven by Frunzik Shahinyan, a local resident, was maneuvering at a high speed at an intersection and then heading in their direction. The police officers ordered him to stop the car, but Shahinyan did not comply with their legal request and fled driving the car.

Shortly afterwards, police found Shahinyan. While being taken to the police station, however, he opened the car door and tried to escape, but was prevented by police.

Afterwards, Shahinyan punched and kicked these police officers.

In the end, however, the police managed to bring him to the police station.

Police prepared a report on the incident and transferred it to an investigation department of the Ministry of Defense, as Frunzik Shahinyan is reportedly a serviceman of the ministry.
