President Donald Trump and his wife Melania has visited the famous Taj Mahal as part of the visit to India.

During a flight to Agra, India, Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One he had never been to the cult mausoleum, but he heard it was unbelievable. Trump and the first lady arrived at the UNESCO World Heritage Site at a time when the sun was already setting.

On the way from the airport, crowds of people have been waving tiny Indian and American flags. Posters were seen along the route depicting Trump and PM Narendra Modi.

The president was also accompanied by his daughter Ivanka with her husband Jared Kushner.
