Hundreds of tourists staying at the H10 Costa Adeje Palace Hotel have been instructed to stay in their rooms until further notice by the Tenerife health authorities. 

A guest from Italy has tested positive for coronavirus and now all of his possible contacts should be checked, DW reported.

Authorities have not yet spoken about quarantine; analyzes of a tourist from Italy were sent to Madrid for a second check. The hotel has 467 rooms, four outdoor pools and two whirlpools.

Two confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in Spain, both among foreign tourists: a German on the Canary island of La Gomera and a British on Mallorca.

The coronavirus spreads more widely in Italy from all over Europe. Seven people has been died in Italy from coronavirus, while the number of infected has reached 283. Over 80 thousand people were diagnosed with COVID-19 coronavirus in the world, and over 2700 people died.
