US president Donald Trump said the US stock market will collapse if he loses the election this year, Reuters reported.

Trump said the stock would jump if he was re-elected, but “if I don’t win you’re going to see a crash like you’ve never seen before.”

According to him, the administration plans to announce a tax cut for the middle class in the near future. He also said the sharp fall in stock prices on Monday was due to concerns over the coronavirus, but the US is controlling this problem.

He said Chinese President Xi Jinping is working hard on this issue. “And I think it is going to be under control ... I think it is going to work out fine. We hope so,” the US president said.
