Iran's deputy health minister Iraj Harirchi has tested positive for the coronavirus disease, BBC reported. 

The deputy health minister said in a video he was self-isolating and starting medication.

MP Mahmoud Sadeghi also reported coronavirus infection on his Twitter.

The Iranian health ministry reported the first cases of infection in the country with a new coronavirus on February 19. According to official information, the number of cases of infection with coronavirus in Iran is nearly 95, while 15 deaths were recorded.
