Hakob Avagyan, head of Health and Labor Inspectorate, spoke about work being done to prevent the entry of the new coronavirus into Armenia.

According to him, other measures are also being taken.

They cooperate with the National Security Service and the MFA when passengers from countries with coronavirus confirmed cases arrive. 

"We have already filled in 1271 address cards since January 24, 36 of which have been hospitalized at border checkpoints," he said adding that most of them are from Zvartnots Airport.

As for the Meghri checkpoint, there was only one case of hospitalization there.
