Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan today met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba Bruno Eduardo Rodriguez Parilla on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.
As reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Minister Mnatsakanyan stated that even though Armenia and Cuba are far away from each other, Armenia attaches special importance to the development and strengthening of relations with Cuba in various sectors.
The foreign ministers attached importance to the intensification of dialogue at different levels and the holding of regular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs as a platform for benchmarking the steps to be taken for full implementation of the existing potential for cooperation in various sectors.
Ministers Mnatsakanyan and Parilla positively assessed the cooperation between Cuba and Armenia on international platforms hinged on mutual support and trust.
