YEREVAN. – At its Cabinet meeting today, the government approved the 2020-2023 action plan for improving the business climate in Armenia.

The plan was presented by the Minister of Economy, Tigran Khachatryan. He noted that in 2018-2019, Armenia implemented numerous reforms and improved the business regulation in the country. In particular, according to the conclusions of the Business Report, Armenia has made significant improvements in recent years in property registration, tax payment, foreign trade, and connecting to the electricity grid.

A number of legislative changes have also been made to ensure progress in recognizing bankruptcy and obtaining loans.
