I congratulate us all since none of the judges of the Constitutional Court of Armenia submitted an application for early retirement. This is what ex-deputy chief of staff of the National Assembly of Armenia Arsen Babayan wrote on his Facebook page.

He particularly stated the following:

“They showed that they have the will that deserves high respect and are fighting for the functioning of an independent judiciary. These strange times are transient, but your high sense of responsibility, strength and professionalism will go down in history. I thank all of you — Hrayr Tovmasyan, Alvina Gyulumyan, Arayik Tunyan, Hrant Nazaryan, Felix Tokhyan, Ashot Khachatryan and Arevik Petrosyan.”
