A while ago, I met Syuzanna, the daughter of Stepan Naroyan (one of the authors of the logo for the YES campaign for the constitutional amendments referendum), and Stepan Naroyan’s wife, Julia. This is what Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Suren Papikyan wrote on his Facebook page today and posted a photo.

During the fundraiser held on February 25, head of the YES campaign headquarters Suren Papikyan announced the name of the first prize winner of the logo contest (Garoon Agency) which received AMD 3,000,000, but later, there was information on the Internet that, in reality, the winning logo is the duplicate of the logo that was published in the “Yerekoyan Yerevan” (Evening Yerevan) during the referendum in 1991 and that the author of the logo was Stepan Naroyan. The YES campaign headquarters decided to equally distribute the prize for first place among three former employees of “Yerekoyan Yerevan”.
