Terrorists from the Idlib de-escalation zone made an attempt on Thursday to carry out a major attack on the positions of the Syrian troops, RIA Novosti reported referring to Russian defense ministry.

The terrorist group Tahrir al-Sham made an attempt to conduct a large-scale offensive operation on a broad front on the positions of the Syrian government forces, the report said.

The Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria is in constant contact with the Turkish Idlib coordination center to eliminate any security threats.
