Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Justice Kristine Grigoryan received today a high-level delegation led by Thomas Garrett, Secretary General of the Community of Democracies.

Garrett presented the purpose of their visit to Armenia, noting that they would like to hear the views of the government and civil society on the democratic reforms in the country, as well as to broaden cooperation between Armenia and the Community of Democracies.

The Deputy Minister presented the strategies developed by the Ministry of Justice and the efforts aimed at promoting democracy in Armenia.

A number of other issues were also touched upon during the meeting.

Summing up the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to deepen cooperation.
