The number of those detained at the Lyon railway station in Paris has risen to 71, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier it was reported that 30 people were detained and 54 reports were prepared violating the law.

Yesterday evening riots broke out on the street where the aforesaid station is located, but police intervened.

There were also reports of a fire at the station, after which people were evacuated.

According to Le Parisien daily, the demonstrators gathered near the AccorHotels Arena concert hall where Congolese singer Fally Ipupa was to perform. The Congolese diaspora activists, however, have accused her of having close ties with the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Felix Tshisekedi, and his predecessor, Joseph Kabila.
