Since February 19, when the first cases of coronavirus infection in Iran have been officially announced, the Armenian embassy in Iran has been operating in an emergency regime. 

The embassy issued a statement noting that from February 25 to 28, 130 Armenian citizens and persons legally residing in Armenia were transported by plane, and 229 - by land, with most of them having permanent contact with the embassy.

The entry of citizens across the border into Armenia is currently underway, and the embassy is carrying out all the necessary functions under the current conditions, the statement added.
