It’s impossible to conduct coronavirus tests based on everyone’s whim and desire. This is what Minister of Healthcare of Armenia Arsen Torosyan said during a press conference devoted to the first case of coronavirus reported in Armenia.

“If a person doesn’t have symptoms and takes a coronavirus test, the test will be almost ineffective because, if, for instance, a person has just been infected or his or her organism was so strong to fight against the virus, we might receive a negative result, meaning that the person doesn’t have coronavirus and that he or she has undergone treatment and been cured. Therefore, from the epidemiological perspective, there is no sense in conducting a test based on a person’s desire,” Torosyan said.

The minister stated that people can use drugs to lower body temperature, tranquilizers, and in case of inflammatory processes — antibiotics.
