President of One Health NGO Grigori Grigoryan today told reporters that the level of biosafety is very low in Armenia, and this is, among other things, due to the uncontrolled entry and exit of wild animals into and from the country.

According to him, wild animals are in the danger zone and are bearers of viruses and diseases. “When we speak out about these issues during our conversations with officials, they simply say this or that piece of information is inaccurate and don’t give any justification. This is negligence that can lead to consequences for people. If our appeals to state bodies remain unanswered, we’ll address Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan,” he stated.

Touching upon the issue of keeping dolphins in Armenia, the analyst clarified that dolphins are not only bearers of dangerous viruses, but can also be aggressive and even kill people for fun.
