Taking into consideration the Prime Minister's proposal and on the occasion of the Diplomat’s Day, Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian has signed decrees to confer diplomatic degrees on a number of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) staff.

They are: Vahagn Atabekyan, Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon; Yuri Babakhanyan Advisor to the Department of Middle East and Africa at the MFA; Vahe Gevorgyan, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Anahit Harutyunyan, Armenian Ambassador to Canada.
