Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia Eduard Aghajanyan today chaired a working discussion with Head of the Office for Coordination of the Activities of the Inspection Bodies of the Office of the Prime Minister Artur Asoyan and Head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body (HLIB) of Armenia Hakob Avagyan.

At the outset of the meeting, Hakob Avagyan talked about the course of implementation of the activities for enhanced supervision to prevent the penetration of coronavirus. Afterwards, the participants of the meeting discussed the actions to be carried out in 2020 and the major changes made in 2019.

In 2019, the HLIB conducted 1,674 supervisory actions and imposed nearly 500 fines which helped increase the budget by more than AMD 28,000,000.

Issues related to planned inspections for the year 2020 were also discussed. It was stated that the Inspection Body has released the annual plan for planned inspections in the prescribed manner and within the prescribed time limit and that, in the plan, economic operators are included according to degree of risk, in accordance with the methodology of risk calculation approved by the Government of Armenia.
