Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is in Tbilisi as part of the delegation led by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, had a meeting with his Georgian counterpart David Zalkaliani, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

With satisfaction, the foreign ministers underscored the current level of Armenian-Georgian dialogue hinged on mutual respect and the centuries-old friendship between the two nations and highly appreciated the cooperation on multilateral platforms, including within the scope of the Council of Europe and Eastern Partnership.

The Georgian and Armenian foreign ministers touched upon pressing global and regional issues and the joint actions that are being taken to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

Ministers Mnatsakanyan and Zalkaliani discussed issues related to peace and security in the region and, in this context, Minister Mnatsakanyan presented Armenia’s assessment and positions on the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
