The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have their working plan, which includes meetings with representatives of the member states of the OSCE Minsk Group and international organizations, starting from the United Nations and ending with the International Committee of the Red Cross. This is what Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan declared during the question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament today, responding to deputy of the Bright Armenia Party Taron Simonyan’s question regarding the meeting that Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu had with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs yesterday.

The Armenian foreign minister stated that the Armenian side trusts the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and is well aware of their plans and approaches. He viewed the work with the Co-Chairs as “normal and natural”, reminded that this isn’t the first time that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are holding such meetings abroad and added that the Armenian side has nothing to worry about.

Mnatsakanyan also said Turkey can’t play any role in the peace process and the Armenian side will continue to work with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
