Georgia and Armenia are facilitating the movement of their citizens in both directions, and citizens can pay visits with their ID cards. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated while providing details of his visit to Georgia during a question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament today.

“This visit was a very high-level visit, and I would like to thank Giorgi Gakharia and all of our Georgian colleagues for the effective and impressive visit. Georgia and Armenia signed a memorandum according to which citizens will have the opportunity to cross the Georgian and Armenian borders with their ID cards. We agreed that now we will implement the agreement,” Nikol Pashinyan said.

The Governments of Armenia and Georgia have signed a Memorandum of Intent to facilitate the movement of the two countries’ citizens.
