Deputy Minister of Justice Kristinne Grigoryan today received the delegation of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).

During the meeting, the parties discussed several issues related to law-making processes.

The aim of the delegation’s visit was to assess the needs that emerge during cooperation between the legislature and government within the scope of legislative initiatives and contribute to the capacity-building of the interested parties in this process.

The deputy minister attached importance to the enhancement and improvement of the law-making through cooperation with international partners in order to make the processes more transparent and inclusive, as well as to the coordination of activities of various parliamentary factions and committees.

In response to the delegates’ questions, Kristinne Grigoryan touched upon the access of the government’s bills for the public through an electronic platform for public consideration and presented the logic of the law-making initaitives of various government agencies, describing the process of strategic planning in the sector.
