Today at 18:19 local time (14:19 Greenwich time), the Seismological Network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded a Magnitude 4.5 earthquake with 38.360 northern latitude and 44.520 eastern longitude, 28 km northwest from the city of Salmas (border between Iran and Turkey), 10 km depth of hearth, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The underground magnitude was 6 points in the epicenter. The earthquake was felt with a magnitude of 2-3 points in the cities of Meghri and Agarak of Syunik Province.
