The EU has not fulfilled its obligations within the migration agreement concluded in March 2016, Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview to Anadolu.

According to him, they have spent 40 billion to receive refugees. The EU promised Turkey three and then another three billion euros, but Turkey has not even received the first tranche in full.

Migration transaction with the EU should be reviewed, the FM said adding they are ready for a constructive dialogue.

As reported earlier, amid the aggravation of the situation in Idlib, Turkey said it would no longer be able to restrain the flows of migrants and refugees. Thus Turkey has opened its borders with the EU, after which thousands of migrants rushed to Greece. EU member states FMs have urged Turkey to fully comply with its obligations under the migration agreement and noted the inadmissibility of using migrants as an instrument of political pressure.
