Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has tweeted that the COVID-19 outbreak is a ‘pandemic’, reports TASS.

Ghebreyesus also wrote that the WHO expects to see the rise of infections and deaths over the next couple of days and has come to the conclusion that COVID-19 has become a pandemic.

Currently, 118,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in 114 countries around the world.
