If necessary, we will stop the campaign. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this in a conversation with journalists during the YES campaign—in the forthcoming referendum on constitutional amendments—in Jermuk town.

According to him, their referendum campaign continues because there is no need to stop it, but if necessary, due to the coronavirus outbreak, they will stop their campaigning.

Commenting on the remark that people were being isolated in Ejmiatsin on suspicion of coronavirus and perhaps more number of people have actually been infected with this disease in Armenia, Pashinyan said: "If the number of people infected with the coronavirus is higher, the government will be the first to announce it. (...) if there will a greater risk, I'll tell about it. "

The Prime Minister noted that the circle of people who were in contact with these coronavirus patients in Armenia was being determined and necessary actions were being taken.

Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier that three more confirmed cases of coronavirus were recorded in Armenia on March 11. One case was recorded on March 1. There are four cases, and 41 others are under quarantine in the country.
