Presided over by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, the bishops of Armenia have issued a statement on the coronavirus pandemic.

"We reflect with concerned on the situation created in the world, as well as in our country by the coronavirus pandemic," the statement reads, in particular. "We urge the children of our people to exercise the utmost vigilance and responsibility, to abide by with consistency and utmost seriousness the requirements and instructions set by the specialized agencies, and to carry out all measures to prevent the pandemic."
